This page explains what we collect when you book with us on this site, why, and who else handles it.
Who we are
Sun and Sea Villas, in Long Bay Hills, Providenciales, Turks and Caicos Islands, owned by Shanwell and Vanessa Gardiner. Payments are taken by Aqua Island Conglomerate, our parent company. You can reach us at team@sunandseavillas.com or on WhatsApp at +1 (649) 231-1184.
What we collect
When you send a booking request, we collect:
- your name, email address, phone number and country
- the lead guest’s name, if that isn’t you
- your dates, villa, number of guests and how you’re paying
- any note you add
When you pay, Fygaro tells us the payment went through, with the name on the card and its last four digits. We keep that with your booking.
What we use it for
- to check and approve your request
- to take your payment and send your booking emails
- to prepare for your stay and keep in touch about it
- to keep the records our business needs
We don’t use your details for marketing, and we don’t sell them.
Who else handles it
A few companies help us run this site, and each sees only what it needs:
- Hostinger hosts this booking site.
- Fygaro takes your card payment on its own secure page. We never see or store your full card number.
- Resend delivers our booking emails.
- Titan hosts our email inbox.
- Adobe Fonts provides the site’s typefaces, which your browser fetches from Adobe.
- Airbnb, where the villas are also listed, reads our calendar so the same dates can’t be booked twice. That calendar shows dates only, never your name or details.
Cookies
This site uses one cookie, to remember your booking details as you move from choosing dates to sending your request. There are no advertising or tracking cookies.
How long we keep it
We keep booking records for as long as we need them for your stay and for our business records. The copies of our emails kept on this site are deleted after 14 days.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you the information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email team@sunandseavillas.com. We may need to keep some records, such as payments, for our accounts.
